Amy Hennigan sighed happily as she set her bags on the floor of her home after months on the road. She was always on the road with her brother but had somehow managed a relationship. Her other was out and Amy was disappointed. She had told him she would be back today and was at least hoping he would be here.

The place was new, fresh paint covered the walls and the carpet was of the highest quality. Not that it really mattered to Kevin Thorn, he wouldn't be spending much time there. Between his indy wrestling career and his..infliction he didn't stay in one place for too long.

His boxes were stacked neatly in the corner and a knock sounded on the door, signalling that the furniture he'd orderd had arrived. With a tired smile that was closed lipped so that his fangs didn't show he answer, ushering them in and pointing to where he wanted the red and black leather pieces.

As the hours worn on his hunger started to build and the movers were starting to entice him. With words that were on the short side he dismmissed them, stating that he could handle it from there and paying them more than the set amount; after all they had gone above the call of duty in the moving and unpacking they'd done.

The living was sparsely set up, the couch inviting but the deep crimson of the leather reminding him that he had to eat. Grabbing some money from wallet he made sure that he had his new key to the apartment and let himself out, locking the door and then turning; bumping into someone the moment he turned.

"Excuse me." The words while polite were clipped as his hunger started to really gain momentum and without a real look to the person he'd barrelled into he headed down and out the complex, searching for something appease his appetite.

After finding an empty house Amy had decided she had had enough of her boyfriend. He always did that to her whenever she came home, was gone. From the noises outside Amy could tell that the apartment down the hall that had been empty was finally being filled. She waited for the movers to leave before she left her house. She felt hungry and wanted pizza.

Amy wasn't really paying attention to where she was going. She was too busy searching her purse for her wallet. Suddenly she was on the ground. Amy was standing one minuet but the next she was on the ground and had no clue how it happened. She could tell it was a man from the voice and they way he carried himself. He seemed to be in a hurry.

"Yeah. No problem." Amy called but knew he wouldn't hear her. Picking herself up she too headed out onto the streets heading for food.

The new town offered new possibilities and it didn't take Kevin long to find someone who fit his bill. She was a young lady, about mid twenties and from the smell on her breath extremely inebhriated. Normally he didn't feel from drunks, but this case was special and with in moments her eyes were fluttering closed as she passed out. Gently he sat her on a bench and moved away, the drink making anyone who passed her think that she was just out from the whiskey she'd consumed.

Content for the moment he patted his pocket and journeyed the local grocery store. At times he could substitue steak blood for actual blood and stave off the hunger so that he wasn't as angry and on edge as he was when he was hungry. Still nothing filled him like fresh blood but he was one that worked on things as they happened.

They had a few nice choice cuts in the meat case and after picking the best ones he stocked up on the nesscessities, shampoo, razors, the little things that he had left in his haste to leave his previous residence. After paying his bill he packed his two bags and made his way back to his apartment, feeling better than he had when he'd left, figuring on using his new found peace of mind to finish setting up his home.

Amy ate happily alone. She wasn't one of the girls who needed to eat with people just to have fun. After months on the road with other people she found it relaxing to have a quiet dinner.

She finished her dinner and paid before walking around. It was a quiet night with not many people out. She walked past a woman on a bench asleep. Amy could smell the liquir on her so she kept walking. Finally she decided to head home. Looking in her purse she realized with dread that she had forgotten her keys. Not wanting to wake anyone in her building she wondered if the new neighbor was in. He had knocked her down so the least he could do was come open the door.

Amy pressed the button of his apartment and waited for an answer.

The button buzzed on his intercom and he pushed it back waiting for it to crackle to life, his eyebrow knitted together, no one knew he lived here. At least he hoped that on one did, a few other of his ilk had connected to him and they were more of the immoral types of Vampire.

"Hello?"

"Um hey. This is Amy. I live down the hall. You knocked into me earlier. I um forgot my keys and I need to get in. Can you come down and let me in?" Amy felt dumb for asking but she needed to get into her house. Her cat would need her.

Kevin furrowed his brow then palmed his face, remembering that he did in fact knock someone down.

"Sure, I'll be right down."

He had gotten hot while unpacking and had discarded his shirt in his bid to keep cool. Grabbing his keys he left his apartment and headed down to the lobby, putting on a smile when he opened the door, remembering too late that he had forgotten to grab his basic tshirt to put back on. Keeping his smile in place he opened the door and held it for her.

"I do apologize for earlier by the way, I don't normally bump into people."

She was slightly shorter than him and her eyes were a beguiling color, making him look closely to discern a distinct color.

Amy had opened her mouth to thank him when she noticed his shirt was off. She closed her mouth and just looked at him. He was taller than she was with dark hair and what looked like dark eyes. She couldn't tell though. Amy shook her head. "No. Umm its ok. My fault." She smiled up at him still standing outside

Kevin chuckled and moved to the side to so that Amy could come in, acutely aware of the fact that she was staring at him. Color climbed his cheeks and rubbed at the back of his neck. Centuries of walking the earth had taken away most of his modesty but he always found it embarassing to be shirtless in public.

"Well, regardless I apologize and if I had seen whom I had barreled over I would have stayed and made sure you were alright; hopefully you can forgive me for my lack of manners. I had...ah....pressing matters to attend to. Perhaps you'll let me make it up to you. Dinner one day this week maybe?"

Kevin turned on his most charming smile, taking her hand and kissing the back of it with a smile as he wondered what it was about the girl that spoke to him in a way that he hadn't felt in over few decades.

Amy blushed as moved inside. She blushed even more when he took her hand and kissed it. Amy wasn't one to openly stare at guys or let one she just met have an effect on her. This stranger however was. She watched as it seemed he was embarrassed that she had seen him shirtless. Amy glanced away briefly before looking back at him.

"Don't even worry about it." Amy smiled happily however. "But dinner does sound nice." Usually Amy would have simply said no but something intriged her about this stranger. Thats what he was of course. A stranger. "And may I ask who so kindly offered me dinner?" She bit her lip and looked up at him through her eyelashes.

"Kevin, Kevin Thorn." He smiled and released her hand, offering her his elbow, years of genteel living amongst nobility and aristocrates showing in his movements. "In case you didn't know, I'm new here; just moved in today." He chuckled as he escorted her to the elevator, sneaking looks out of the corner of his eyes.

She was his type....or rather the type he normally liked to feed from, she seemed to be a loner but she had the creamy skin he had knew from past experiences would glow in the moonlight a transculent silver color. Her dark hair was a stark contrast and back in the time of Dukes and Duchesses she would have been the belle of the ball, the one sought after by the most prestigeous of the ton for her hand in marriage.

"So dinner, what day works for you? If you don't mind me asking."
He asked with a most winning smile that he had been told could make the devil do his bidding if he turned it upon him.

Amy kept smiling as she accepted his offered hand. It was hard to find a descent gentleman but it seemed Kevin was one. Pressing the button to thier floor she tucked her hair behind her ear before turning to him. "Yeah. I heard the guys carrying the things up. I myself have just gotten home too. And realizing you don't know my name. Which is Amy Hennigan."

She couldn't keep herself from looking at him. He was her type. The taller ones with dark hair and eyes. The bad boys people called them but most of them turned out to be wimps. Like her now ex. Amy was lost in thought thinking about what to do with his things when she heard Kevin ask what day.

"Oh umm." Amy bit her lip thinking. It was a habit she had. "How's Tuesday?" she asked. If she had her days right today was Sunday. Days were lost on her sometimes.

Kevin chuckled as he held the elevator door open for Amy. "Well I knew your first name; but if I had know the beauty that name Amy was attached too I would have been down here faster. Tuesday?" Thinking he chewed his bottom lip, his new federation held their shows on Tuesdays. "Tuesday it is, but it'll have to be an early dinner. I wrestle on Tuedsays for the local indy fed and they start at 8:30 pm."

He moved in behind her and leaned against the far wall, not wanting Amy to feel as if she was being suffocated or threatened. The ride up was slow and he found himself thoroughly enchanted with the petite woman.

"Really?" Amy's eyes light up. Both at the thought of dinner with Kevin and that he was a wrestler. She was always interested in wrestling. With her brother in the WWE she couldn't help it. "Your a wrestler?" Amy asked as they rode up. She noticed he had moved away. That made her both sad and feel ok. Sad because she wanted him near her for some reason. Ok because it meant Kevin wasn't going to hover around her all the time.

"I like wrestling." She stated quietly. More to herself than anyone. Most were shocked that she liked wrestling thought she didn't understand why.

"I am." He nodded, "I'm working my way through the ranks, want to earn my stripes the old way." He smiles in surprise at her confession. "Really? Who's your favorite? And I'm not just talking now, do you have any favorite legends?"

Wrestling had always been his favorite sport, even back when it was done with two naked, oiled men in Ancient Greece. As it became more promient in society he'd taken to watching as many matches and events that he could, the fire in his veins making him take up any place he can in the sport.

Kevin abandonned his spot near the wall and moved a bit closer, still not wanting to scare Amy but wanting to know more; it was rare that he found someone that intrigued him on so many different levels as she did and he was suddenly very adament about not letting her get away easily.

Amy tracked his movements and was happy when he moved closer. He too intriged her for some unknown reason to herself. Kevin just interested her in a way many didn't. Getting her attention and keeping it was usually a hard task but he seemed to know just how to do it.

"Legends wise I have to say Hulk Hogan,Bret Hart,Owen Hart, Undertaker, Triple H and Shawn Micheals." She thought some more. "Well I suppose the last 3 are fairly new but they have done amazing things." Amy actually turned toward him so she was facing him. Amy looked at him from head to toe. Her earlier assesment about his eyes were true. They were dark. "New age though I have to say I love the extremists. Like Jeff Hardy, Shannon Moore, Evan Bourne and my own brother John."

Amy couldn't tear her eyes away from him but somehow managed to look down just as the elevator opened on their floor.

Kevin laughed and gently took Amy's elbow, escorting her off the elevator.

"Well I can agree on one of the Legends, Owen was one of my personal faves. My others were The Hot Scot, The Million Dollar Man and The American Dream. For now...hmmm, that's a hard one, I have to go with Undertaker, Matt Hardy, Sheamus, and of course you can't go wrong with DX....with Chyna." He stops and blinks. "John?" He thought for a moment, then blinked again. "As in Morrison?"

"The very same. Though its actually Hennigan." She blushed as she got out of the elevator. Amy hated talking about her brother never sure if people liked her for her or for her brother. If they only knew he was gay. Sighing she flipped the hair that had gotten into her face. The same shade as Johnny's.

"Always love DX. I have a shirt of thiers I wear to bed. Not to mention I liked Team Extreme with Lita." Amy started walking towards her door hoping Kevin would walk with her. As rediculous as it was she didn't want to stop talking to him.

Kevin pulled a face. "Team Extreme....ugg. Well it would have been ok without Lita...and before you start on the whole Matt/Lita/Edge deal, I never liked her from the first moment I set eyes on her. Don't know what it was but I could never get behind her. Now that's not to say I don't think she's given her all to the sport. She's done a lot for the women's divison."

He seen his door get larger as they got closer and he felt sadden a bit at the thought of leaving her so soon. With a smile he looked down at her, thinking of the only thing that he could to extend their time together.

"Which one is yours? I have to atone for my earlier behaviour and gentleman always escorts a lady to her home."

"Oh trust me she is an awesome athelete but I never really had a taste for her to begin with. I mean 8 tag team champions was alot at the time." Amy nodded in agreement. She too got sad when she saw the door getting cloer. She knew which it was because it was the only one that had newly been moved into.

"Im just down the hall. Number 5." Amy smiled up to him. "Nothing to atone for. Dinner would be enough. But I suppose I can't turn down a man being a gentleman." Leading the way Amy sighed and muttered under her breath, "Can't find many of those."

Kevin stopped and took Amy's hand bringing it to his lips with a smile. "My lady I can assure you I'm the last of a dying breed."

He purposely slowed his steps wanting to drag out their time together as he was never going to see her again in his life time. Still time seemed to go by all too fast and soon they were standing in front of her door; the large brass number 5 gleaming in the dim light of the hallway. With a grin he bowed, kissing her hand again.

"Well my lady, we've arrived home, free of highway men and other such desirables. I think now I must bid you a good night."

Amy blushed and bit he lip. She looked at her door and took out her keys. Amy hesitated not really wanting to leave. She slowly entered the key and turned it. "So umm I guess I will see you?" Amy asked as she looked up at him. She knew she would see him Tuesday but that now seems like forever.

Kevin nods. "Of course you'll see me, I live just down the hall." He chuckles and bows again. "Sleep well Ms. Hennigan, may the angels watch you dream and learn what an angel truly is."

He back away, his eyes never leaving Amy's face and quickly acting on instinct he moves back close and leans in, brushing his lips across Amy's then breaking away again; smiling embarrassedly.

"I apologize Amy, but I had too. I hope you can forgive me one day for being so bold."

He bows once more and then heads back to his own home; his face flushed and his body trembling as he lets himself through the door. If he were human he'd stay that he'd just found his one true love; but being what he was he found something a lot more rarer; a human worthy of being brought over and turned Vampire. He wouldn't do it, but it didn't stop him from thinking about it.

Amy stood shocked for a minuet. He had just kissed her and left. "No problem. I liked it." Amy said more to herself before turning back to her door. She smiled and entered her house. Still dazed she put her keys on the hook, took off her jacket, and jumped when her cat rubbed against her. Amy leaned down and per the cat whose name was Razberry. Even as she went through her nightly routine her mind went back to Kevin.

Amy sighed as she put her hair up, put on her pajamas and got into bed. Normally she wasn't one to let a guy entertain her thought but for now she couldn't help herself.
